When I was asked this question it totally took me by suprise and I just immediately said, "I'll explain it to u later". Yeah i kno, cop out but it shocked me.

Now with my child being as intellectual as she is just giving her the dictionary definition would suffice for now but I see this as a moment to open up a discussion about it.

How did or would you handle that situation with your children? Is it a different conversation for boys than it is for girls?

Seeing as mine would just lay on the couch and go at it while watching TV at 4 years old, we had that talk then.
