This reminds me of just how old I am and how much history I have actually lived through.
The ending of the Vietnam war.
Watergate
The Charles Manson gang
The shooting of Gerald Ford
The Challenger explosion
Desert Storm/Desert Shield
Oklahoma City bombing
Jim Jones tragedy...
I could go on and on.
I'm not sure what I will share. It depends on the curiosity of my child and the things that stick out in mind.
The FIRST bombing of the WTC was the same week my son was born. That and the Branch Davidian tragedy. Those I will definately want to share.

i was too young when this happened, but, affected when i learned about it.
one of my aunts was part of that jim jones church and the only thing that kept her from going (as was confirmed by her sister just a few days ago) was that she got sick during the time she was suppose to fly and her dr restricted her from flying. then a few days later, was when the massacre occured.

Yes, Hula the wall did come down.
I grew up with the threat of Cold War and sometimes forget that the threat of terrorism is different.
