No particular reason.. I see an older black guy I think of my Father or Grandfather.... Plus in Manhattan ain't to many rolling Blacks living here.. Most live upstate and just commute to come to work.

But they do not have to be white, most older men do not have a problem in dropping a few $$'s to spend time with you. Most of them do not really want sex all the time they just realize that time is money.

That may be an even better set up. Get you a commuting brother that will not hogg up all of your time and you can go on weekend get aways to see him sometime.

the problems that that type of relationship will FAR OUT WEIGH the problems that you are having now!

I suggest that you consider other financial alternatives...if you are a student...get another student loan. I don't know very many black folks that didnt struggle a lil bit gettin that degree. You are a strong woman...you are even stronger than you think. Don't prostitute yourself...don't disrespect yourself! You KNOW better than that!

Believe me its just a thought... No body would give me money for anything.... Student Loans.. oh Hell no.. I already owe at least $45k... ain't I haven't gotten my Bachelor's yet.. and i want to get my MBA Also...
