Personally OhSo unless you are hearing this from a friend....It's a line. A line to keep you from being angry at them for not wanting to be with you. Plain and simple.

If I think that a man is a good man, I am NOT going to let him make some other woman happy someday I'm going to do everything I can to be that woman.

You know, when somebody has said that to me, I have stepped back and thought, hmmm, maybe he should not be the one I make happy.....does he make me happy? Is he good enough for me? Or am I making allowances and bending over backwards? Usually, the answer is, no. He doesn't make me that happy, and I have worried to much about making him happy...his feelings aren't the same as mine, hence the line.
