Did any one read that article in the recent Essence mag. it was a trip about 1 out of every 160 black female had HIV+ or aids compared to the 1 out 3,000 of white women which was contracted by hetersexual sex. They interview several black men who admit to having sex with men.

I have more to add, but wanted to see if anyone else read the story.

Heres a piece of the article:

I didn't read the article, however I read elsewhere that AIDS is easier transmitted through anal sex and that quite a few brothers who enjoy anal sex with women have also tried it with men. :rolleyes:

when in doubt ask! Oh so the scarriest part is when I know friends and relatives who men just act straight up gay, and the response is he's not gay, he just fem, oh okay. When a nigga acting prettier than me, that's a problem.

The article also spoke on acceptance which I don't have a problem with acceptance, however let me know,. if I want to deal with you being bi-sexual give me that choice. Don't be faking the funk and I get caught up. Another woman husband ended dying from aids and she was in denial. She kept saying he contacted the virus due to drug addiction, although she found out after the fact that he had been sleeping with men. She said she suppressed that information because she didn't want to look like a fool.

One of men ended up marrying this woman. They had 2 boy's together and he ended up cheating with a man who was engaged to get married. They went to counseling and end stay togeter. He said he has always wanted kid's and a relationship with a woman but he desired were to have sex with men.

The article was given to me by a gay male friend as a *warning*. This friend was a drag queen who had anal sex all the time with men who believed he was a female.

He also said that some men stopped calling when they found out he was male...some didn't.

Allow me to elaborate on the contents of the article.

It was also in regards to men who were in denial about thier sexual preference.

They had bogus relationships with women that consisted of primarily anal sex but their true desire was to be with men. They were in denial. They found women who enjoyed anal sex and rarely had vaginal sex. It was not something they enjoyed.

They also had sex with gay drag queens, and transvestites in order to fulfill that part of it.

I have had anal sex and enjoyed it so I am in no way condeming that. But I feel that some of my sisters may assume that because a man is with a woman and acts manly he is not on the DL. That simply is not true.

We expect gay men to be flashy and flambouyant. The times they are a-changing.
