What is the dress code/style of dress for your job?

Would you consider yourself overdressed or underdressed compared to your co-workers and the dress code?

Well, technically, I am supposed to wear my uniform at work. But getting up in the morning to get dressed and then going to work to change clothes is unappealling to me. My boss has made statements in this regard on a couple of occassions. But when I am in uniform, everything is tight from the top to the bottom. When I am in uniform, I consider myself to be overdressed because these cats I work with come to work with dirty uniforms and shoes that are not polished. So unpolished, cats shoes look white!!!! I like to look good in my uniform anyway, that professional appearance goes a long way.

it's all department based...

for sales - dress up daily

for me - casual

for engineering/programming - where what you want, just be neat and clean

I work at a dotcom in Sac, it's so laidback that even my casual work stuff is overdressed...

pretty business-like collared shirt EVERYDAY except friday, no sneakers, and even on fridays we're still what most would consider business casual..
