On Girlfriends last nite the character Joan went from Cali to New York to visit her S/O he asked her to move with him permanently. She said no because she has her friends, her job, and her house.

If you love someone...what would it take to get you to move across country with them?

Personally for that fine Dondre Whitfield...I'd be packing right now. ;)

i already did it...well, not move across the COUNTRY, but, hell...i MOVED OUT OF CHI!
now, tell me that ain't across the country!
AND i did it for love...transferred colleges, moved and all in ONE MONTH!

love is just about the only thing i'll do it for...i've had passion, lust, infatuation...those shits are broke up.
money? hell, i could get that in chi...

but love...that's rare and i'll get it while it's hot...

That's it right there. . . .

All I'd need is an open invite and I'm tying up loose ends before I hang up the phone.

Money and end of discussion...love will not pay my bills.

There are times when i want to just move and start else where...just start applying for jobs in different MAJOR cities....take the kids and go.

The gov't is every damn where...atleast i know i won't lose my time in service. It'll be 15 years come March 2002.

A couple of steps up in living quaility would do it for me. Growing up on the east coast, I would love to move and live in southern Cali.

THat's hard to say.. I'm my mother's only child.. I don't want to leave her... But it would have to be a lot of Money involved for me to pack up.

and I have no regrets. My husband went from reservist to active duty while we were dating, and was given orders to goto Cali. I told him I would join him, only if we were married first. So we canceled our big wedding, went to the courthouse, got married, and moved to Cali.

I'd move for any reason right now. There's nothing holding me here.

ok... i slightly change my anwser:

marriage

and not a day before the honeymoon is over. i actually got it planned how i would do things. i would wait until the wedding and honeymoon is over to actually pack things and move. since i have to quit my job and look in my new city, i may as well take my time doing the moving stuff after the wedding considering i would quit my job 1 week before i marry. if i did it all before the wedding i would feel like i am rushing.
