Sparkley ones  ! Kids today......but you know something...they do kinda make it hard on us parents...go to underwear section for lil girls and they have stuff there for adults...why are there silk and santin panties for lil girls. They shouldn't be wearing nothing but cotton.

Tee, you and my best friend must be related. She said the same thing. I will admit that I buy the satin matching sets for my 13 year old. She says they are more comfortable.
My best friend nearly passed out when we stayed with her a few months ago. It was her turn to do laundry and she pulled out my daughter's underclothes from the dryer and yelled, "Sydney, c'mere." She wanted to know who those lil' satin underclothes belonged to. I told her they were my daughters and she just rolled her eyes in her head and going on a tirade about how lil' girls only need cotton. I guess sometimes you just get sucked into buying the "pretty" under garments for them.

I only have to deal with whether to buy boxers or boxer briefs. I refuse to buy those "nut busting" tighty-whitey breifs!!!!

my step daughter , my cousin who act like my niece, and my god-daughter are 16 and I went out and brought them a pair because I was so tired of seeing the panty line under there dress and stuff. Well of course my husband had fit saying I shouldn't have brought them. Each of the gurls thanked me of course, but was I wrong!!!!

Sometimes as adults we think we our minds rather than looking at things from the childs perspective.
My son is 8 and wears boxers because his older cousins who are 17 do. He thinks it's a man thing. LOL :D
I used to have matching bra and panty sets from about age 8 or 9 I just thought it made me look grown up. There was nothing sexual about it.
And as far as a front open bra...convenience. It never occured to me it would be easier for someone ELSE to take off...just easier for me.

My daughter is 16 too and she wears them. She bought them herself. I didn't know about them until I did laundry.
When I first realized she liked them, she had went into my drawer and got my black pair. I didn't know she had them until I did the laundry and asked her what the hell was she wearing my thongs for. She said she didn't want a panty line under her skirt. I told her to buy her own and keep her ass out of my drawls.:blah:
