Why don't we, as black people. . . RSVP when we are invited to parties. . . and are asked to RSVP by a certain date~???

Damn~!!!!!!

That burns me up~!!! :hammer I invited 30 kids to my daughter's birthday party for next Sunday at Chuck E Cheese's, and have had two (2) people call and RSVP~!!!!!! :blah: Two out of thirty~!!!!! WTH~???

And, I know that the majority, if not all of them will be walking up in there come next week~!!!!

Why~??????? Why not pick up the phone and call and say yes, or no~????????!!!!!!!

They do this every year~!!!!!!!! :(

If it's for the kids I will RSVP. I will admit that sometimes I'm late at responding at the specific date that they asked because sometimes it slips my mind until my kids remind me, then I will call and apologize..

Now for me... Like Tee said.. Sometimes I'm not sure if I will make it or not so I'll either call them a day before or just show up..

I'm the same way with bringing dishes.. Neva sure what I will be in the mood to cook so I'll just say put me down for bringing something and whateva I show up with is what I got! :D

I always RSVP if the invitation say to.

I really dont like to let my kids go to a party if they don't have a invitation. It makes me think they just invited themselves to something. If they don't have a invitation, and come home telling me about it, then I have to make a phone call to the parents.
