Tornado in DC/MD~??

Is it true~?? Where's the DC/MD Fam at~?? :confused:

It has been reported tonight, Monday - September 24, 2001 on UPN 9 News (Channel 9) that there has been a tornado in College Park, MD~!! :eek: They also said DC. . . how close is College Park to DC~??

There were two people killed and more injured. . . :(

Well we are having terrible Thunder storms here in the SF/OAK Bay Area Central California. My power was out for about 45 mins...

HELL YES, it was and i was damn near in the middle of it headed home on the 495.

One minute it's just raining, next minute windy as hell.

THen it got kinda dark, and all kinds of shit was flying across 495.

Looked up, trees were in the air along flying like crazy, with alot of other stuff...i honestly thought they were a flock of birds.

Lasted a good 5 minutes.

Entire time i'm on the phone with my mom.

Everyone on 495, near the College Park exit, which was where i was pulled over with the quickness.

Once it passed by and traffic started to flow, up ahead all you say was pices of metal all over 495, along with big tree branches and other stuff.

I had never been so scared.

It truly was not my turn.

On the way to work, well you can see the damage, pices of metal still there wrapped around things. And the trees, snapped.

2 students at Univ of MD College Park lost there lives. Car they was in was lifted off the ground and hit a tree. :(

There was quite a bit of damage, the College Park area where the University of Maryland is located is basically shut down. I was out and about yesterday when all this happened, when I got home and turned on the news I was shocked. I just thanked God that he protected me and my family.
