The prices are off the hook except for @ onthefield.com but they have the basic dress styles. I saw one in Maryland at Arundell Mills (sp) Mall in one of the sports stores.
Around here and other places I'm sure, you can just buy your jersey and have someone customize it and come out way cheaper. . .I was looking for some more ideas because that's what I'm going to do. I may do it myself. . .I just need to see if it's too complicated. If so, then I'm going to take my idea to someone else to hook it up.

Now, this last site is a little bit much in the designs. . .I think the dude is out of Atlanta and while I'm not knocking his hustle, he needs some better seamstresses so some of the items don't look cheesy but on EBay folks buy half-chewed gum so there's apparently a market for it.

Girl please...Tee don't wear nobody heels on a Saturday....i'd wear that dress on a Saturday, just running errands or out shopping. I think i have a lil too much hip and butt for those others, plus i got a lil stomach...the red one looks lose.
As for those boots, i don't really care for any of them.

*yellin in my lil'john voice*
i cant front ....im a slave to urban fashion( i cant help it i live in DA HOOD) but in recent times ive been just SMH!
ok ok ,,yes ive fell in and brought about 5 basketball jerseys( 2 of them throwbacks ) and i'm really kickin myself in the ass for it !!!!:blah:
reason #1.. no matter how much money you spend on the damm jersey ya gonna go out and see someone with the SAME ONE ON !!!!
reason #2... WHO in the hell wants to own a $200 shirt(but i guess you have to have summthing to offset those $100 air force 1's)
i was watching game 3 of the magic/piston playoff series and i saw a guy rocking a #1 t-mac jersey( go T-MAC) and next to him was his lady friend rockin the .. U guessed it the T-MAC jersey dress.... SMH
dont get me wrong they look nice but this shit is gettin outta hand ...
its just as bad as the ""WHITE TEE "" craze!!!

none of this is appealin to me for the following reasons:
1. the shoes are HELLA ugly (yet, if someone else wore them i don't think i would care)
2. i do not have the body for the dresses. and if i had the body, as cute as they are... they are probably only good enough for an at home small gathering barbque and not meant for me to wear pass my front gate to go to the store or anything.
what other kinds of shoes can be worn with these dresses? i keep thinking stark white tennis shoes is the limit here...

Give me a month and a half and I could wear any of the fits w/o feeling self conscious. Would I want to? Hell no. Me don't think that's cute at all.

I bought me some Titans gear for football season and I wanted something a little more femine looking than a sweatshirt. . .I guess that can be sexy looking with nothing on underneath :upto:
I thought it was funny the way this trend was/is carried to extremes but some of them I do like.
I thought Reebok was releasing a woman's line of NFL wear, I will keep looking. . .I don't like the sloppy oversize look of the men's jerseys, not on me anyway.

My daughter has been asking for one of these...she's 10....answer NO.
These dresses are being worn all over DC and MD by young girls, and they are being worn like grown women.......
Who started this trend anyway.....wasn't it Maria Carey?

It takes a certain body type to roc those outfits...

my point is, my 10 year old HAS the body.....and most of the 9-14 year olds in our area have it......all they need is a dress like this to show it and some pervert come and snatch them up.
these fashion designers never think of young kids when they make these things.

I seen few pre~teens & teens built like grown women...
These aren't worst outfits out there, but I am sure you will see someone that shouldn't be in it, in it...
Its funny how the woman on the west coast thought that the outfits were not cute. While the woman on the eastcoast and ther south thought they were nice outfits. Do yall think that there is different fashion taste due to regional location?

Yes...my daughter can pretty much fill in my clothes..hell her breast bigger than mine...cup size and all....:(
Bright if you saw my daughter, you'd swear she was atleast 13.
I have a cousin who is 13, and looks 18.
I've seen the dresses on the girls here...they look like shirts on them....they don't even wear them long....

Only two women from the west coast commented in this thread so how can you determine that?
I'm sure there are west coast people that would like that stuff.
As far as the 9-13yr olds having the body, those outfits aren't really made for those that have much of one.

I haven't seen any girls like that around here. I have seen 15-17 year olds look 21 and up but not 11-13 year olds.
Don't mistake me. . .I have seen BIG little girls strolling out of the elementary & jr high school who wear women's sizes (12-14-16 -up) but they don't have grown women's bodies. . . .they are just overweight for their age.
My friend's daughter was wearing Lane Bryant clothing around 9th grade.
I don't see anything wrong with a young girl wearing the basic jersey style dress, it's basically a sundress. . however, the cut out ones or one shoulder style are the ones I'd hate to see on a younger child.

what do you consider body? because it's been my experience that the best looking dresses were on thick girls, with a good amount of body..jersey dresses are not figure-flattering AT ALL, so however good you look in them depends on how well you fill them out..
i'm guilty of the matching throwback-jersey dress couple thing..we wore it to my little brother's basketball tournament...sure, it was just a bunch of 7-10 yr olds, but we wanted to go with the whole basketball theme..it was cute...i fill my dress out really well..and if i do say so myself, i look DAMN GOOD in it.

I haven't seen anybody wearing these dresses, but I think they are cute. I probably would wear one. Where? I don't know.
