my daughter's best friend's mother told me this:
"If a man is divorced, he's no good...why would a WOMAN divorce a GOOD MAN?"

well, djackso...i think that is the universal way of thinking for most women who know better...hate to say it, but usually men have a hard time getting over women, so divorcees - especially recent ones - are taboo

i think that 20-30 years ago...this may have had some merit...
but in the y2k...we have to consider that somewhere around 40% of marriages end up in divorce....so that's an awful lot of x's on backs.

What about the simple fact that they decided to get divorced 'cuz they weren't right for each other.....what does that have to do with whether one is good or not....and whose eyes are we looking thru to determine the state of goodness

A woman will divorce a GOOD MAN because she's ungrateful bia bia that does not realize what a GOOD MAN she has. lol :p
if folks got married because he/she is good for me and my life and not just good to certain body parts...I'd say this could be true.
But nowadays, some folks are not married and in love....they married with "arrangements"

I'm in agreement with this. I am EXTREMELY cautious about dealing with a man who has been divorced for less than a year or 2.
