My first major step is going to be a haircut, I'm going really short

Damn if my hair wasn't so thin up top, I would rocking a short cut myself, but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do...

My hair is braided right now. Will probably keep it that way until I come back from Hushnic, then I will have it cut off shorter than the pic Brightness posted.

Not sure about wardrobe. Just whatever catches my fancy. Maybe more summer dresses & sandals.

SUNDRESSES!!!!!!!!!

I'm going straight sundresses this spring/summer/fall. My sister got me into that. Last year, that's about all she wore and they are so cute. They have the cutest little weightless pastel sundresses at Nordstroms (and other places). AND good sales too!! They also have some that are appropriate for the dress-down code at work.

Colors!!!

I will be all into colors this year too. I usually don't do too many BRIGHT colors, got stuck in the nuetral and black/white phase (I'm a Lerner New York girl) but (singing) "I'm coming out".

I was too busy working overtime & 6 days a week, I started to get it done in D.C. but I will do it some time next month. . .when I am ready to reveal the whole new look.

My hair was bout the same length as your and I cut it two weeks ago.. Shorter then what's in the picture. The top and most of the sides and be curled with the smallest curler the rest is tapered (sp)...

It's probably is going to take a minute for you to get used to if this is the first time having short hair. I bet it looks fine...

No, I've gone short before but I don't like the fact that she shaved my sides and back because that keeps you having to shave it every week to two weeks so it doesn't look out of control.

I don't intend to maintain that aspect of the style so I'm not going to waste my money on the upkeeping of it.

It generally takes a day or two to like a new style.

Really bright I like the cut too, just givei t some time...

I know what you mean about shaving the side and back, but it really does look better that way instead of just tapered or cut IMO but it will probably grow fast, so don't sweat the small stuff.

I like the cut too. Sometimes it takes a minute to adjust when you do something that's drastic.

Well.....i put the cutest lil flip flops in layaway at Walmart yesterday.....

Hey Bright, that cut is really, really cute on you. I had a short cut with shaved back and sides and the upkeep wasn't so bad. I could slide through just to have that hooked up and be out quick!
