Do you like "House" music? Is it played where you are? It is very popular in Baltimore.

I was speaking with a friend tonight and they seem to think that house music is for gay men to dance off of, what ya think.

Back in the 80's Chicago was nothing but House Music... It was not just for gays... But as Rap music became more popular House soon was pushed into the back and gays started to hang to it...
Now when I'm at a party at home and some house music comes on (Not that Techno crap) everyone gets up and dances.

I miss me some... Lil' Louis, DJ Rush... Clubs the Warehouse, Hummingbird, The Box, The Mirage, Red Dog...etc...

I still love me some House Music

You said "The Mirage" was that a club? Cause we had a club here in DC called the Mirage...it is now a strip club...Platinum something.

I have always like House music...That's all the clubs mainly played where I used to party at in Essex County(NJ)...

Balitmore house music is in a class by itself.....and let me find the Mirage in DC is now a skrip club:D

i would bet any amount of money that the house you are listening to, t, is not true HOUSE...HOUSE is my favorite music - mainly because i was bred within the culture...the term HOUSE has also been abused...i find that outside of chi, no one even knows why HOUSE is called HOUSE and without knowing the origins, it's difficult to maintain its form...Toffee-fay, i have thee most extensive collection of house joints online...i mean liquid liquid joints (like "optimo"), liasons dangereueses joints (like "los ninos de la parque"), etc...i even have some ron hardy live at the power plant (don't fuck with me...)...detroit's doing a good job with house considering derrrick may is here and kevin saunderson's a regular...however, HOUSE is continuing to progress in chi, some of my dearest friends sadar, russell and lee are pioneers in SOUL...if you want to get on the good foot, let me know, i'll forward locations...

one more thing: the reason why house is associated with gay people other than in chi is that folk cannot IMAGINE how it is that a music form can have you happy, loving, dancing, sweating...all for the music...at the club...no nasty stuff involved...

Sea...it's been a strip club for over a year now.......WOmen strip there.....$20 for a table dance.....
