Fam, do you like Independant Films? Little films that get little to no pub? Some of these are good and I'm addicted to them. I love documentaries the most, but my new thang is the Indie black movies

i think these are really called "straight to video" cuz they aint gone be played in the theater...i try to pick these out when i go to the store if just to see black folks...they are hard to find sometimes...hollywood video seems to have a little more than blockbuster..

i just saw this new one last night called "love goggles"
pretty decent...

there's one that's garbage called "love beat the hell out of me"
with terrence howard in it... it was weak or either over my head... watch that at your own risk...

a lot of these movies are low budget and you can tell cuz they are kind of dark (poor lighting) and they make a lot of noise when they are playing or rewinding/fast forwarding in the vcr....

mixing nia was ok... a little too preachy or whatever to me....

loving jezebel was kinda artsy corny...

they try to be so deep that they overdo it.... they should just tell the story and let the viewer draw their own observations instead of trying to take your mind somewhere the plot isn't taking it
