Now don't get me wrong, the hush is great, the hush is fun, most definitely, but sometimes I ain't feeling it.
I would go into detail, but quite frankly, I ain't tryna start any mess.

It's a normal feeling. I have had to take breaks from the hush at times because of such a feeling.

I am here just about everyday, several times a day. I wasn't always like that. I used to only come once, maybe twice a week, and there is plenty to catch up on.
Now if you are talking about the nature of the convo going on, or have particular people in mind when you say that, then, I see where you want to lay low with the details. Drama ain't worth the drama.

I get like that too, its okay to fell the way you feel. I hope its not an individual making you feel this way though.

I understand,I was away for quite awile, missed everyone though. But now that I'm back I enjoy the interactions.

Whenever I felt this way, it was usually someone (or a few people) that was getting on my damn nerves~!! :hammer

to me...the hush is a microcosm of the real world.....cept in the real world u can't just click off the page. my ability ...to deal with the various personas here...has increased my ability to deal in the real world.
...so easy to ignore folks here. so easy to half-read what they say...so easy to pick and choose even the topic of discussion that u look at.......in the real world i can't always pick and choose....

I'm not really sure what you are saying Que, so does that mean you are not always feeling the hush, b/c of people?
And it's easy to ignore people anywhere, even in the real world.
at one time or another.
Sometime the shit gets so tired and mudane. I just can not get into some topics (popcorn/bubble gum). I enjoy the money, religion and political topics which are far and few in between.

I like those too. If you post about Money or Finances I'll respond most times.
Don't take it personal, I don't reponse to a lot of post. Especially those that are selfserving.

Not sure what you mean by self serving. But I was talking about Money posts. I have done a ton of them or at least tried to.
You know you can start your own, inform the uninformed, I surely would like to see that.

This doesn't belong here..but I will say it anyway...
Sometimes we need a break and that's ok. Sometimes, for me, I would love to answer a topic...but it falls outta the top 10 too quickly...and since I mostly go "Hushing" at work...It becomes difficult to go on a search and read campaign throughout the Hush during the day (I gotta work sometimes). I can see myself finding more to add if I can easily see more of what people are posting on the board...
Most of the time, I see several topics in the top 10...I answer one of the topics and when I return to the top 10...the other topic is gone off of the top 10! And I have a DIFFICULT time finding it...
My point? Well, while some new, potentially exciting posts are being made...I am seeing the same to 10 topics...then It appears to me that the hush is not moving much...
Then I get bored...
But it's normal....for us to feel that way...
I'll provide insight or understanding when the question comes up.
I can not give someone something they are not looking for.

Cause I remember I had a question about IRAs were you not on that day? I coulda used your help. (I'm not really tripping off of you not answering, but I threw that out there anyway)
Why is money taboo w/black folks, I didn't know it was supposed to be, is that why people don't respond and "Da Money" pretty much never has anything going on?
I'll just have to remember that and I'll stop wasting my time trying to inform.

Here's the challenge! Bring up some topics that YOU are interested in...I am interested in Money (especially in my accumulation of money...or overcoming my lack thereof...:D ).
I'm down with talking about money. If you posted something...It proably slipped below the to 10 before I got a chance to see it...
I'm pretty lazy about going beyond the home page...but I will try to EXPLORE the ALLIES of the huss more...
