How the hell you gonna rock even a "knock-off" Burberry ensemble. . .with some flip flops?

I'm not a Burberry fan. I think it's all ugly plaid.
So this doesn't surprise me.

see.... i am a FANATIC for plaid (anything plaid) and you have to wear it just right for it to look right AND look right on you... you can't wear A LOT of plaid or else... it looks horrible...takes a way from the integrity of the colors and the lines....
and all i have to say is.... that's fucked up...
does dude got on a shirt under that jacket?
wrong lipstick color...
at least her hair was done?
cheeks are rather shining....
IT'S JUST AIN'T RIGHT!

This reminds me that black folks are as diverse a people as anyone. To think that this is someone's idea of styling and profiling, is a lesson in what diversity truly is. That Burberry pattern is as plain vanilla white folkish as you can get, but at some point, it got the heads up from the fashion police in hip hop, and as long as it's recognized that it's a sign of affluence, the use of the symbol rises above common sense and reasonable judgement.
New lyrics:
"...we'll make burberry in anything,
don't hate on us, we're fabulous!"

You gotta give props to the big gurl for having the courage to go with the two piece, and shorts. But over confidence leads to an outrageousness. That pattern could keep crows outta the cornfields.

I heard someone talking about the "Timberlands" with this pattern. . .I hadn't seen those yet. . . I've seen some shit but I ain't seen those yet.
But like Dre said MyPeople carry shit to extremes oftentimes. . . .so I shouldn't be surprised.

I had to laugh when Burberry put out a very terse statement to the effect of their checked pattern is their trademark and has been since 1921, and that fakes wouldn't be tolerated...

 :D  :D
They are mad at the ghettofying of their trademark and I can't say as I blame them.
I've always liked plaids and I remember the first time I saw this was as an accessory not overly done but like I said. . .you know how USFOLK do things. . .way, way over the top.
This is only the current fad. . .remember the extreme abuse of Coogi a couple years back. . .you will still see some today but for awhile. . .you saw Coogi in ya sleep. . . .headbands, scrunchies, purses, shorts, tanktops, dresses. . .

The first item I saw with this pattern was a pair of boots and a matching umbrella.....you know, the boots you wore as a child, the floppy galoshes...LOL But it was cute. The model had on a trench coat and the plaid set it off nicely. What is being done now isn't cute.
