I know that WE, the world. . . need to get back to some type of normalcy as possible. . . but, is there anyone out there that might be feeling guilty about doing that~??

Anybody~??

normalcy means that the terrorist have not won.

but

life as we know it...after next week...will be completely different anyway.

I can't feel guilty for doing what I have to do.. To me.. not getting back to normal is letting the terrorists win! We have to show that we are a strong nation and can get through anything.. I truly feel for everyone that has lost their lives and their families.. And I continue to keep them in my prayers.. But it is time for me to get back on track and to move on..

I think I've gotten back to normal as much as normal can be given the way things will be in the coming months ahead.

The one thing I find very ironic is that we will devote a whole day to prayer for this tragedy but yet and still spent tons of money to keep prayer, religious student organizations, bible verses, etc. out of schools and other public places.

And I'm sure those who are used to attending church noticed more of a full house this past week, too.

This was a wake-up call for a lot of people, I'm sure.

That is so true Bright~!! I didn't attend my Church this weekend. . . I went to visit my sister's Church, and there was a line to get into the Church that went all the way around the corner. . . there was standing room only & there were quite a few people that remained outside~!!

It was definitely a wake up call~!!

I can't say I feel guilty.. I am still very greatful to still be here and that all of my family and friends are okay... But life must go on. This experience will change everyone, the innocent are not as innocent anymore. Now I hope 2yrs from now we don't see people complaining about the airline security being to strict. You know how quickly people forget.

What's going to happen next week Que? Is that when the war "officially" begins??

This is something I think people besides those with inside connections should know.

Some media are reporting that it could be weeks even months before anything is done...others are saying it could be at any moment...now you are alluding to next week.

Wassup???

...because we won't be back in that area, if at all, for several weeks. Waiting to see where I can be relocated, or if I have a job (sounds like I have posted this before) makes this time off strange. I'll feel better seeing my check show up in direct deposit on schedule this Thursday. Hearing "Cha-Ching" every two weeks goes a long way to make it feel as normal as it gets.

It is true that nothing will be the same again. Any dissention in the national politics will have this tragedy thrown in it's face to use patriotism to win its case. Can't wait until somebody starts mentioning reparations again. And I'd hate to be a Mexican scrambling across the Texas border. If we start bombing, which I agree is inevitable, I fear that things will continue to blow up in the US. Anticipating future tragedies is a large part of this dark cloud I feel over me.
