From all the television coverage on the WTC & The Pentagon Attacks~??? :(

I have. . . this weekend. . . Every day since it happened, I would come home from work and be glued to the television. . . but, I just had to take a break. . . I felt like I was beginning to make myself sick~!!

Just this morning, as I was getting ready for Church. . . I tuned in. . only to hear that in NYC. . . they have found the remains of one of the passengers. . still buckled in their seat & one of the flight attendants, which hands were still bound~!! :(

And, even after taking a little break from it all, I still feel so emotionally exhausted~!!

(sigh)

i have taken a break from the tv coverage...but living right next to a base...fraternizing with military bruhz this weekend....realizing that we are about to enter in to a sustained military action...not like the desert storm...where all the iraqi's just gave up....but an opponent...that has the kind of resolve of the vietnamese....
i have learned some news that is of a classified nature...thanks to the fact that i have bruhz that work at the state dept, dept of justice, fbi, etc etc....i don't want to alarm...or mess up my next polygraph test where they ask "have u told anything!?!"....

i'll just say...FAMILY...HUSH FAMILY...stay alert...and be careful.

Why even say anything at all, QUE? You just putting out teasers and getting everyone all anxious to say what you said. I think most of us know from what Bush said that this isn't going to be a "quick in, quick out" type of action. And as for the staying alert, I am staying in prayer so that will take care of everything else.

To answer the question yes I took a break and I've even been checking the airlines to get some good airfares. . .some of the tickets I've been searching have gone down in price.

Girl you been eating your Wheaties? You are so on point!!

I haven't watched any news since about Thursday. I get an e-mail alert from the local news station when anything new happens and I read that but I have no desire to watch the tragedy over and over and hear all the gory (literally) details.

I wanted to watch the service friday but I was at work. My mom told me about it.

Que,
Please if you are not able to give details (and I understand that you are not) please stop. I appreciate the be alert...be careful..I really do but otherwise you are not helping. Now anyone who reads this is going to have all sorts of images in their head that may be far worse...or not as bad as what is real. If our governement chooses to keep us in the dark (which I don't agree with) I'd appreciate it if you'd respect that as well, since you are not telling anything anyway.

Yes I had to give myself a break. It is just so damn depressing. To see all of those men and women down there trying to find people. It I get sick to the stomach. We all know we are going to war and it is terrible to think there will be more deaths.

Yeah, I have taken a break. The News just keep getting more and more depressing as the days go along. I was hoping that they would find more survivors by now, but they have not.
