how did you find out?

where were you exactly?

who was you first phone call to?

what was you first move?

I was at work and a co-worker told me.

I didn't call anyone.

I came to the Hush and IM'd Bedroomeyes to see if she and the other DC/Maryland Hush fam were okay.

I IM'd Qjai.

I came back to the board to search for New York members when I saw CD's thread and posted there.

#1 - I heard about it on the radio~!!

#2 - I was in the car on my way to work that morning. . . it had just happened~!!

#3 - My very first phone call was to my sister. . . who use to work at the WTC. . a couple of years ago~!!

#4 - My first move~?? :confused: Well. . . I was actually stuck in traffic for a while. . but, I stayed on the phone with my sister. . . she and I could not believe it . . . I was so upset by the time I got to work~!! :(

I get there. . everyone's in the boss' office watching it on Television. . we could actually watch from our office windows. . . if we wanted to . . but, would only be able to see smoke at this point~!! :(

It wasn't until a little later that morning, we heard about the Pentagon & the plane that went down in PA~!!

#1 - my sister called me at work, i was late for work, didn't even have the computer on good.

#2 - must have happened while i was in the garage at work coming upstairs.

#3 - my best friend

#4 - My bosses boss had just walked in the office, i told him, while back on the phone with my sister, when the second plane hit. he was shocked and had me call the Deans office for a emergency meeting.

I don't think half my job knew anything at this point because all the military students were in class.

Right after the Pentagon was hit, we were evacuated.

I got home with my kids about 1:30pm.

I was at work when I heard. I had my radio on and was half listening to it. When all I heard was something about a bombing at the WTC. I listened a little more and found out it was as plane. Still not thinking I asked someone here if it was the WTC in NY or the one here in Dallas. Then we heard about the second plane. They turned on the big screens in our training rooms and we watched coverage there.

I didn't call anyone. A couple hours later I called my husband to see if he had heard, but got the voicemail. I went home for lunch and he was still asleep (he works nights) and didn't know anything.
