I was watching Oz's season premier & in a scene a man was giving another man a blow job & spit out then you can see the sperm on his face. If it was a woman i would not have a problem with it but instead I was totally disgusted by that & if i was in prison i would rather die than be another man's bitch. I understand that he was doing what he had to to survive but i would rather die than suck another man's dick. Imagine some men enjoy that. I am totally homophobic.

LOL@Que too.
Funny how seeing MEN grosses you out but if that had been a sexy woman with a glazed lip it would not have been the same reaction.
lol :p

Sex & the City had an episode before that where a guy had his face glazed by one of the characters & i thought that was funny cause she would't kiss him afterwards. The Oz scene had me offended & ready to e-mail HBO. If essence it is the same thing that is why i am homophobic. LOL

I saw that Sex and the City episode and I was like
"Girl lick that off, it's yours." lol
That must be a white woman thing because I love to taste myself on a man's lips. But then again I'm TASTEY lol :p
I'm glad I didn't see that.
I had to turnmy head when they showed one man tooling another man in the shower....Jeezzzz

missed OZ but that Sex *& the City scene was nasty - he was too damn messy for me...a little dew on the lips is cool but that man looked like he stuck his face in a bowl of icing...ugh...coochie juice and cum are 2 different things...maybe that's why I'm not gay...

... you are going to have different reactions, Oz or Sex and The City and male and female. I am not a fan of either situation being readily available to be seen by kids, and cable is the same as regular TV in that respect. Not all homes have it, of course, but in those that do, the kids can see everything.
Both shows try to give you some wow to justify the fact that the public expects more from the cable TV experience. Oz knows that it has a big male audience, and the more they can throw in to make you squirm, the more buzz it will create. There is a deliberate effort on Oz to get as graphic as they can with the homosexual aspect, because no other drama situation comes close to looking like it can be part of its storyline. I guess I'm a homophobe too if you want to call me that, because I think that:
1. A fair amount of the writers in TV are gay, and what better way to desensitize the aversion that many have to male sex than to fold it into the realism of prison life. Every new shocking step creates a new line that then must be crossed. The comedic gay male has always been easier to accept, with Will and Grace hitting the highest heights of saturation into the mainstream. I read that Ellen Degeneres was the great ice breaker, and also any show that expects to go anywhere now must have a character or at least a episode or two that gives homosexuality, and specifically the gay male considerable exposure. Now that may be all well and good. But...
2. I am leery of this growing pattern of normalizing the gay male character, because I still feel it's an alternative lifestyle, and when it comes to kids, I feel that male-female relationships is what should be promoted. The portrayal of that schizo existence - that exists in prisons where supposedly straight men engage in gay sex but still consider them straight, I feel, is this is what is used to help pave the way for the gay male to be accepted. Remember "Bosom Buddies". I would see that show and try to understand what was so damn funny. I was much younger then, and Tootsie was out in the theaters too. There's ulterior motives as to why these straight men were dressing up as women. Don't look down on them, they aren't bonafided transvestites, but in the meantime, it let's us get used to the idea of a man in full dress and makeup. Almost every male coming up in Hollywood has to choose the drag queen persona, and it isn't a tribute to Uncle Miltie or Sid Ceasar's classic comedy pioneering. If Denzel hasn't done it, I bet there was a time he had to turn it down and take what stalls it caused in his rise through the ranks.
The Oz boys are tough as nails, and like in real prisons, what better way to assert your superiority in prison than to make a challenger your bitch. Don't hold it against them, the show insinuates, it's the environment they're in. Meantime, let's explore the gory details of it. I ain't buying it. Even on the basis of just giving a shit about what trials and tribulations hardcore prisoners have, I never caught on with that show. They seemed intent on blurring the lines between right and wrong for the sake of keep the public talkingabout it.

that was OZ last show...it was just too raw for me!!..the sex, violence..the whole prison scence is depressing:( ..I know it exists and is very real...I'm just glad it's off the air...
I'm not homophobic, but Hollywood has pushed the envelope, mailed it and now it's here in living color....Queer as folks...this show is so RAW...it's disgusting...it gives glimpse of gay life that's wayyyyyyyyy out there...Just glad they have no brotha's on the show....yet!!
I have a close friend from my home town who I see reguarly...who's now GAY!!!..I'm like dude..WTF!!!..you have a 8 yr old son...and a ex-wife...what happened??..he tells me the urge is too strong, like being a crack addict..he's addicted:confused:  ..Now he sings in the choir, snaps and claps the loudest....I'm totally digusted..
I also have 3 gay nephews??? Jesus!!!..so glad my dad is dead...he couldn't deal with it!!!...I know this because their parents my siblings can't.. they've moved so far from the family we see them every blue moon one is in Germany, Alaska and Colorado.......out of 23 grandchildren...3 of the men are sweet!!!..self sufficent, hard working but SWEET!!!..I love 'em dearly but they're gay....geeeeezzz..and handsome....Often at family functions...the questions arise..is it gentic, choice...WHY??
Chey being the youngest of 10..I'm closest to them...and also because i live in the bay area...they often visit the bay...and visit their Aunt Chey....The one in Germany brought his gay lover..I met him, he was nice and mannerable..that's all I could say.....so he goes to visit his mom. his lover goes to Yosemite...no gay lover welcomed ....Sooooooo...Djack...you're not by yourself..on the homophobic thing....many, many in my family share your feelings.....
and yes this is it a bit personal....but the HUSH has a way about bringing out things..I don't normally talk about on a regular...

Okay...
Your opinion of "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" (1995) with Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo and Wesley Snipes. I am embarresed to say I enjoyed that movie and thought it was funny.

... but I hung in there. I can be objective enough to say it was decent. I thought sure it was the end of Snipes' action hero career. I was wrong. Swayze wasn't as swaysey as Snipes and Leguisamo. I knew Leguisamo would go all out...that's a wild boy. Wasn't Leguisamo also in a movie with Seymour Philip Hoffman and Robert DeNiro? I made the mistake of renting that on a slow Blockbuster night.
