that was Snoop when Tyrese in Babyboy was about to shoot him. His boy ended up being the one to kill Snoop, and his turning to God was supposed to tie up that loose end. Thats the only part about that movie I didnt like.

I agree Dre. I mean I understood his position that God understands and forgives all.

But how do you say a prayer before going to take a life. :confused:

It wasn't before... He was a mean S.O.B. before, and didnt hesitate to shoot when Tyrese's character didn't. They seem to be saying that this made the problem with Snoop's character driving a wedge between them go away, helping there be a happy ending.

But that would send the wrong message. They certainly did not want to look like murder was okay. So in Singleton's other flick, the movie "Boyz From The Hood" Cube's character is said to have later been killed after avenging Rickey's murder. And in Babyboy, they opted for showing the killer turning to religion, so he can make things right for his girl and her Mom. Oh well, its a work of fiction. Reality would have Snoop's boys coming back for revenge.

I'm talking about the prayer he and Tyrese prayed right after Snoop came by the house shooting.

They were out in the yard and it was something like...

"Lord, show us the way and if you can't show us the way forgive us for not doing the right thing."

Then they hunted down Snoop and killed him.

Didn't make sense to me.
