Can you say Dejavu?.....I think it was 1990 or 1991 that we had the Gulf War and who was the president???
George Bush Sr. Now 10 years later.........look at what kind of shyt we gotta go thru? You know, I just look back to the Election and see what kind of games that were played to get him into office...your thoughts??
I'm just sad.

I don't think Bush being in office now has anything to do with it. Obviously these terrorists have been planning this attack for quite some time....before Bush, Jr. was ever in the picture.

Oh i think Bush being in office may have fueled things....still wondering where Clinton is........isn't his office in NY.
And i'll say this one more time...The US runs there mouth too much.

That's what I thought earlier today but now...I'm not so sure.
First of all who are we going to war with? Afghanistan is adamant that this guy (can't remember his name) is not responsible. Until we have some evidence of his involvement attack on that country to me would be premature.
Secondly terrorists don't fight conventional wars. What I mean is they make attacks (such as the 1st bombing of WTC and this one) but they don't have an organized military to fight against. This guy has supporters and followers all over the world...including living right here in the US...right in our own neighborhoods.
Even if America bombed and destroyed Afghanistan...that would not prevent more terrorists attacks because all of the people responsible do not live there.
I feel that this will cause the US to be more alert and security to be tighter all over (which it should be) but I can't see the possibility of war without a clear enemy to fight. Also even if the US fights Afghanistan but continues to support Isreal the threat of more terrorists attacks will continue to exist.
Lastly let's not forget Oklahoma City...an act of terrorism committed by a good ole boy who didn't like the government. Personally I have not ruled that out as a possibility. Especially since no group is stepping forward to take responsibility. In the past usually one of these groups would take responsibily and at least say WHY but this time it's unclear....just like Oklahoma City.
Just my opinion...
