How often should you have to replace a computer mouse?
Mine is not working good. I've tried cleaning and replacing my mouse pad and nothing helped.
I've had it almost 2 years is it time to buy a new one?

I love the trackball, it's so much easier. I got it on the downstairs PC, and when I am upstairs one, I miss it.
Never had to clean the trackball one either.
You should try it, it was only $20.

I you still like to use the mouse, then move to the Optical mouse. The optical mouse uses "light" instead of a ball....therefore no need to clean balls....ever! The optical mouse will work on ANY SURFACE! It is truely a great product to have if you still want to use the mouse. Go to your local PC store and ask about the Optical Mouse. The prices for the optical mouse have gone down quite a bit. You should be able to get one from $20 bucks on up.
Here's some optical mouse info.

Of course, you should be able to go to a "Best Buy" or something and get a optical mouse for a pretty cheap price...
