I start the new fulltime job today, it feels funny to put on hosiery and conservative clothing again. . .no more cut off shirts or strapless dresses. . .lol.
I'll keep those who've been the same route as me via unemployment in my thoughts & prayers. Hang in there. . .I'm returning to the 'jungle' after 9 mos. . .I hope they don't eat me alive!!!!

Just share your Brightness with everyone and all will be well. It must be nice to start off new. You shouldn't feel intimidated by it. You'll probably get the low down on who is who around the office. Not just in a official capacity, but on the down low, gossip about personalities and indescretions. You don't need advice from me, but here it is anyway...:D
I have found that it is a good idea not to let someone else shade your opinions of anyone, or to even allow the gossip mill to sweep you into it. The one person everybody hates may turn out to be your best friend on the job.
What kind of position is it? Or does the C.I.A. forbid you to elaborate?:) More importantly, can you go online and still post on the Hush board!

Thanks for the well wishes, my first day went just fine. I think this job is going to be just fine.
I'm working in the retail operations center of a bank and I'll be working as an account adjuster. . .nice boring but detailed work that will keep everyone out of my hair and not in my face, most of my contact will be via phone. . .just the way I like it.
I told myself I was going to abide by company guidelines as far as email, computer & internet usage and I'm going to try very hard. . .
At least until I traipse down to the IS department with some donuts and butter up the Sys. Admin . . . that's always one of the people I make it my business to get on their good side.
You never know when you need assistance get some phone records deleted or getting your 'system' sweeped clean before those surprise, random inspections. . . :D
