How often do you buy a new bed/mattress?

Do you flip you mattress, if so how often?

I've had my current mattress for 4 years and since it's a double pillow-top I think it has a 15 year warranty. I have flipped my mattress about 5-8 times total. I don't believe I'll have this one that long because I want to move up to a California King and I know those cost a grip but I fell in love with all that room. . .

I've had the same mattress for the past 6yrs.

I've been thinking of switching to a twin bed (i have a queen) it'll give me more space in my room.

I rarely flip the mattress b/c it's so heavy. Every now and again I vaccuum it.

When i move, i'll be buying a new mattress. It'll be know rush but it's something i plan to get.

Now i've never heard of vaccumming your mattress.

I just purchased a new one and I will flip it from time to time. I will get a new one in a couple of years.

I flip my mattress about every other month.

I have a water bed now, but when I did just have the mattress, I would flip them once every two months or so.

I think I am going to look for me another bedroom set. I am tired of the waterbed. Its leaking right now, and I am sure its just the plugs on the tubes that are loose.
