i thought i remember watching a boxing match once or twice a year as a little girl in the 70's. i remember them being major events that required a lot of people coming over and cooking and dead silence when it was on and hoopin and hollering when it was gone off. i thought cbs and abc went back and forth fighting over the broadcast of it ...

PPV has ducks align for the big payday fights now, that ABC and CBS use to carry for free... That was like in the 70s... They fight all year round...
