okay, i have a dell puter at work and it's the only puter i ever worked on that is haunted.

for example, if one program is having problems opening, it will shut down everything else except the cd player. then when i log off, the cd player keeps playing.

then, if i want to restart, the puter won't restart. i try turnin it off on the cpu... it won't turn off.

i have to literally get on the floor, on my knees, under the desk and pull the power out the wall to shut it down. that's my restart! ctfu.

i know i shouldn't do that, but, at least once a week this puter make me go there!

but how is it the cd player keeps playin? ctfu

Gee, Hula. I don' t know! But if the [ctrl]+[alt]+[Delete] doesn't work, then you should have a reset button on the front of your computer. If not, then you should have a power switch on the back of your computer. Most PCs do these days.

There can be soooo many reasons why your PC is haunted...It all depends on what operating system you are running....

Win 98? Win NT? Win 2000? Etc.

But, hea, who cares, right. I agree. You want the problem solved! So Call your IT guy and have him look into it.

And next time, BUY A HP!

(And get rid of that Lexmark at home and get a HP printer)

You know that I am saying this with NO bias whatsoever...

my puter did this again!

also, yesterday, while at another desk with a dell puter, my word program shutted down and i wanted to log off so i can log back into it. the puter wouldn't let me log off OR shut down. i tried the start menu and i tried turning the buttons off on the cpu.

had to pull the plug out the wall.

i'm tellin you, DELL computers are HAUNTED!
