I know it many more in the NFL...but it has to be ill-sickening to harbor that type of feeling and know you cant tell anyone, especially playing football...when probably 30% are gay, and that is a high percentage.

It's like that in all the major sports, I mean do we know of any openly gay athletes in baseball, football or basketball? There's certainly a reason for that.

I think to be openly gay and an athelete means opening yourself to major harassment.

but I think a few baseball players would have to be on the list. . .don't ask me why but maybe I can just say they have "the look" moreso than any other athletes besides figure skaters.

But like everything else that's stereotypical so is the traditional look we've come to associate with "gaydom"

15 might be an accurate number now that you took it there....

But this percentage is not to be quoted or printed...I am just guessing.

We also have to include the Basil Henderson type atlethics (sp) Basil Henderson is that character from E. Lynn Harris books just in case no one knew.

Basil charcters are the ones that dont think they gay but let men suck they dick and give it to them in the ass....but he dont take it cause if he does that means he's gay:rolleyes:

Which that philosphy kills the hell out of me:confused:

You right about that MOcha and that also the same mentality men who are in prison or coming out have. As long as they are recieving it in the bootay then they aren't gay.

However, One wouldl think that the percentage is not that High30% but higher than folks are willing to atmit too...

There are many gay athletes. Being gay doesn't make you any less of an athlete & personally I am beginning to think it doesn't make you any less of a man.

djackso....

my question to you would be:

What IS being a man?

djackso

Depends on the culture you are in. Each race is different. That is a great question!

que90nek

there has to be a definition.....

sometimes the definition is in the antithesis. or defining all the things that a man is NOT.....somewhere in THAT antithesis definition you may flat out be describing a WOMAN.

i won't put YOU on the spot djackso.....by saying that my question pertains to AFRICAN AMERICAN men....

i only suggest that you carry this question to Q of the D.....and see what the hush thinks.

however, that just my Opinion...

Kordell Stewart was dealt a bad hand, by the racist Pittsburgh... The did a "Beyond the Glory" FoxsportsNet Series, talking about this... I hate Pittsburgh, in that city you can be a hero on Sunday, and a nigger on Monday... I refuse to do any work in that city, fuck Pittsburgh...

Why does a man have to prove his manhood, through sex... I always never understood why people attack a person sexuality, if they aint acting in a way of this society... If tells you it aint true, why can't people accept and respect the man's word... We are getting more and more like white people...
