Twice this morning I got a yahoo message from a person on my friend list wanted me to right click on all my contacts names and forward a message about Yahoo charging for instant messenger. I deleted both messages but it just seemed odd to me.
The last time I clicked on something like this it killed my MSN messenger. I don't know if it's a virus or not, but just be careful folks.

Has got more holes than swiss cheese. . .I don't do any of that stuff that I get in offline msgs. or even ones when I am online.
There was one that attached through a friend of mine's and it sent offline/online msgs. to everyone on his contact list. . .the way I knew it was a problem is because it came to more than one of my ID's under his name.
I just don't accept any links unless I'm in the middle of a chat session . . . a virus sender is not going to engage you in idle chit-chat. . they are trying to pique your interest and get you to act immediately.

Yeah. That sounds mighty strange. I got a similar message from someone I knew and they said that they were just forwarding on...I don't think that Yahoo is going charge for Yahoo IM...

and I have just deleted it.
I used to do some chatting on MSN. I was talking to some one and he was telling me that he had seen his son over the weekend and took alot of pictures. Then he asked me (I thought) if I wanted to see some of the pictures. Of course I said yes. And when I clicked to accept the file, Dr. Solomon popped on holding a bug in his hand saying that he had grabbed a virus. I was floored! I sent him a message asking me if he sent the last message, about sending pictures, and he assured me that he had not. We started talking about other things and I brought up pictures again to see if maybe the virus pops up during key words. Sure enough when we started talking about it again, the same question popped up again. I stopped using MSN.

These virus senders are getting craftier and craftier by the minute aren't they!
