Is it rude to leave a party, go to the car and bring your own cup to a party, when the drink table is filled with plastic cups?
Have u done it?
Would u be offeneded if you were hosting the party?

I wouldn't feel offended, I would just note that it was unusual to see. But some people don't like drinking out of plastic or whatever. . .I usually offer guests a glass as opposed to a disposable cup. Only the kids get plastic cutlery, plates and drinkware.

What if all the plastic cups available are those little bitty white plastic cups, you are drinking soda, and you have to put ICE in your cup........???

For some reason you sound guilty. lol :p
I would not care if someone got their own cup that's on them. Just so they keep up with it.

Weird but I would not call it rude. Some people have thier little quirks like drinking out of plastic, ect. Now I would be offended if they brought thier cup to my house but I saw them at another persons house drinking out of thier cups. To me that would say that they thought I was dirty or something......

If i'm at a party & all that is available is cheap liquor then I will go to the car & drink my own out of my own cup. Most of the time I bring my own chalice anyway.

I don't think it's rude. Maybe they just don't want to waste/dirty one of your cups when they know they have a used one in their car.
