If you have Hotmail, are you having issues with Junk Mail~?? :eek: :confused:


I have at least 150 emails in my "Junk Mail" folder. . daily~!! :hammer


Anybody else having this problem~????????





(Note - I also have a lot of junk mail in AOL on a daily basis. . but not nearly as many as with Hotmail~!!)

I have the same problem with my Hotmail account. What you can do is either select the email and hit the "Block Sender" icon, or, go into the email and "unsubscribe" to it. This sometimes brings up another window where you enter your email addr and process your request. Some are instant, others take 2-3 days.

The thing is that you can only have 250 ( I believe) addr's on your "Blocked Sender" list. I have been "unsubscribing" lately and have noticed a difference, but they will never completely go away.

Ever notice that alot of that junk mail is advertising pills to enlarge your penis or watching some teenager on her webcam. Get's on my damn nerves.

Ivy, I don't usually like to do that. . and i don't. . because I am afraid of getting some type of virus just from opening up the email~!! :(

I think I will try to block the junk mail from now on. . it's really getting out of hand now~!! :rolleyes:

Hey that's the price you pay when you get free shit. Free email.. just let us send your name to everyone in the US. Of better yet.. take more time going through our banners before you get to the mail. Yall want email accounts. Spamproof. I got em... Will cost ya.

Yeah, that might be true. . however, AOL is getting to be just as bad and I am paying for that shit~!! :blah: :p

to UNSUBSCRIBE because this let's the sender know it's a valid email account that is getting read. . .while they might unsubscribe you from that, they will subscribe you to 15 more lists knowing that you are at least opening the emails.

Best bet is to use the highest filter allowable because these people have hundreds of email addys so blocking won't do jack for you.
