For $300,000 my beloved school will be traveling to the Orange Bowl to face top rank Miami. Damn, I hate this because this throws the possibilty of a undefeated season out the window.

Well, atleast we should win t he battle of the bands;)

Mel, I got all kind of confidence in my school. In fact, I am going to go out on a limb and predict the score.

Man, I am telling you do not sleep on the rattlers. If we are not out the game by half time Miami will be in a lot of trouble. Thats why I say 49-47.

When we lost to them in 1999 the score was 53-3 or sumthing like that. That was because we had a BS quaterback. We got a QB now that has played in a few big games, so we should be alright.

Man, I got to admit that I did not think that FAMU had a chance against Miami, but I was impressed that we scored. We scored against Miami for the first time since we beat that azz in 1979.

Miami got players with all kinds of speed. Why FAMU was in zone covearge I still don't know.:confused:

Yes, it was ugly, but in our minds we won. FAMU got $300,000 plus $5 per ticket if attendence reach over 45,000 people. It was reported that there were 70,000 people at the game. Hell, for this kind of money I could stand azz whipping.

When a team has speed like that, you go back to the basics. Smashmouth football. Play off the receiver only about 2 yds and when the ball is snapped, BUST EM IN THE FUCKIN MOUTH He will remember that shit next time he lines up across from you. Get his mind off the game and on you. This is where shit talking is a plus. If he gets by the CB, have the SS or FS make him pay.

FAMU runs a westcoast offense; 3-4 wide receiver set, shotgun one back, and no back set.

Sinbad, u are so right. I think FAMU should have played the bump and run all night. Now I know that takes alot out of the DB, but in college football its all about winning.
