I LOVE that movie!!!! CTFU!

Most people hated it but maybe cus I'm from the country with a crazy ass family just like that...I can relate. :D :D

I also bought the sound track. The music is SLAMMING!!! :p

Only thing I didnt like was that it was chock full of folks I know can act, but they were all acting like they couldn't! Vivica's good wife role, LL Cool J all mad, half at nothing, and lawd, Jada's loud mouth! And I couldn't buy her and Anthony Andersen together, but some casting decision was made, "very small sized woman", "very plump man" let the yucks begin. The funniest one in that was playing the straightest role: Whoopi G. Cedric's need to add a speech impediment to his Southern preacher role was a little annoying, but he's from Mississippi, so I gotta give him that. Now, his gas attack toward the end just went to the well, the bathroom humor well. It provided an excuse for LL to close it out, but damn.... If I never see that movie again ... okay I am being harsh, I got country relatives too, but I expected too much, I guess. Now that I look back on it, I treat it like "The Wash"... you watch it, you wait for it to end, and you know you got basically what you came in for: a few laughs here and there. I think I laughed twice at The Wash, both times with George Wallace on the screen.

No it was not Oscar caliber, hell it wasn't even TV caliber but if you looked at for the sheer sake of laughing...there was plenty to laugh at.

What was up with Bud's (sp?) arthritis in his feet? whew... they were wrong for that one.

Delightful....... that girl got paid for just sitting there and looking plump and cute! lol. They coulda called my ass up for that job.

I would watch it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I loved the movie. The funniest part was Jada crawling in the casket - that happened at a funeral I went to last week. I also enjoyed her "Lawd take me now" when she found out who her husband had done -- :p I'm going to have put it in now.
