A few of us dark sisters are getting some play but not like the dark skinned brothers.

We need an icon. The men have Tyson, Tyreese, Morris Chestnut.
The ladies need a darkskinned sista to represent for us. But noooooo whose in all the movies? Tamala Jones ass that's who. LOL :p Although she's not light but she ain't dark either. LOL

through the years..."light-skinned blacks have always been closer to what society's image of what beauty is supposed to be....any shade other than that has always been associated with "black" meaning ugly.


Even though most of us have overcome and crossed this ugly stereotype..there are quite a few of us who still only date or marry a certain shade of folks..

I see it in NYC all the time. The closer you are to white if you are female u r all good. For men... Now that white women like black me and they usually go or the really dark ones... They are in. Here, I always see Snow White with a blue black dude..
