Verbal Fist-A-Cuffs in Office! OMG!

:eek:fam I just overheard about 15 minutes of what I am referring to as “Verbal Fist-A-Cuffs” in my office. We have a PM that is a lil crazy/anal at times. The person who works under him was the target. Their manager was no where to be found during this verbal battle.

Seems that there is a project that is looming (always the case…right?). The PM was looking for this guy. Now they sit right next to each other in cubicles.

Anyway, the PM had the nerve to come over to the guys cube and ask him where he was for 45 minutes. Dude went off on the PM. Yep, both are keeblers! I was loving it like Mickey D’s.

Funny thing is that no one came to brake them up, they did not take it to an office or outside. It was so tence, I had to get up and remove myself (I sit directly on the other side of the wall from them both), so I did not see how it ended, but this was the worse office meltdown I have ever seen/heard.

No, but air thang is all quiet now. Hmmmm, I know their manager has been contacted. This should bubble by end of the week. IMO the PM lost the fight.

If anyone ever asks me where I was for 45mins, I was in the restroom taking a loong healthy dookie! LOL

Naw, not lunch, but turns out that the dude was at another co-workers desk discussing one of the PM's project deliverables. Their manager just came over and spoke to the PM, but nothing was mentioned about the "Verbal Fist-A-Cuffs" earlier.

we having that almost weekly at my job.. someone was told to "take the day off" after some shouthing/staring ..then a few days later they had third parties in to cool things off...
it's going to be a long hot summer.. i say basically it's the economy and these cutbacks in staff forcing folks to get hot over all the extra work they have to do...add in employers/managers thinking they have the upper hand (be glad you have this job, etc.) and folks are saying "F--k that"

economy set to pick up or get better and people will be jetting left and right when the time comes...
