Along came you
totally new
breath of fresh air
special and rare
intrigued my mind
sweet and kind
fun on the town
laughing at the clown
that I saw in you
gigglin at the things you do
then you said "I can see a lot in you,
based on what you say and do"
Seemed like frienship on the rise
i never saw the early demise
I guess what you said you didn't really feel
cause then you'd know the real deal
when my character was on the line
you didn't choose to stand behind
that initial impression I left in your heart
and the problem you say is on my part?
even though you didn't stay
i feel bad, i didn't get the chance to say
that it may have been a game to you
but my friendship was real and true, i trusted you...
so even though you ignored
the real me and decided to close the door
i'll walk away knowing the real deal
knowing what was false and what was real
knowing I tried to be good to you
I just couldn't do what u asked me to do
you but me in a really bad place
tight situation, uncomfortable space
ultimately what started new
ended so fast...now im losing you
