Toss this on top of the huge steaming pile of horse Shit that the NJ Troopers try to use to counter the charges and admittances by their own personnel that they target black drivers.

Everybody speeds, even if just a little. If more blacks get tickets, and blacks are like less than 20% of the population, then the math alone lets you know that when it comes to decidng who to chase down in a pack of cars and give the ticket, Balcks had better go heavy on the baby powder before they leave home and try to pass for Richie Cunningham. I got pulled over just the other day...I was doing 60, and Route 4 was a 50mph limit because of all the ins and outs of the shopping parking lots, but I was just cruising along with the rest of the traffic, not blazing by on the outside like some were doing. When I saw the police lights in my rear view, I thought sure they were going after Speedy Gonzales in the BMW, instead they pulled me over. It took a bit to pull over too, because we are right in a pack of cars all going the same speed, and they all started poking slow, scared that they were the targets.

So he checked my license, registration, and insurance credentials, and said that he'll let me go on the speeding, but I have a light out oin the tail light. True, but damn it was one in a long string of lights, and I be seeing cars with raggedy ass colored film hanging off an all smashed up light panel all the time. Still, glad that I wasn't getting a ticket I was on my way, and up to 60 again right in front of him without realizing it.... it really doesnt feel that fast at all ! Was I a profile target? I'll never know. He had reason to pull me over, so I can't complain. Certainly blacks are going to get pulled over in many instances as fairly as anyone else. But this report that more Blacks are speeding is pure bullshit. It smells like it was staged to give Troopers a straw to grasp. If the originators of this study...not the institution, but the actual people behind, if they don't have ties to law enforcement agencies, I'd be very surprised.

Plus, I read that many of these research foundations, in their quest for new sources of funding, come up with these studies and make announcements so they can grab headlines and attract potentials backers. I remember the one that once said that "smoking weed or crack can lead to getting HIV". Upon further explanation, they said that teens that get high are likely to get more promiscuous, and be less likely to be responsible in this state of highness. So they may not take the time to use the proper protection like condoms, so they open themselves to a greater risk of getting HIV. No Shit? Did they need to have a study to reach that conclusion?
