Bart, is that the subway or like ya'll bus. I am debating on renting a car but it might not be necessary. A car would just have me lost. I have no problem with Bart or whatever.

sistuhchey

Just heads up!!!..(there is no Bart as of yet in San Jose)...couple of questions??

Business or pleasure???
Flying into San Jose or San Fran?? it makes a difference for San Jose & SF are literally 50 miles apart....Now you can get from San Jose into SF without renting a car, (no bart) but there's CalTran, buses..and Bart from SF Airport...

So let me know what's your plan...Gurlllllllll you'll be in the bay for Halloween....lol,lol.....that's always good for laughs..

I'm feeling maybe a Hornblower brunch in the bay that Saturday or Sunday..depending on folks schedule.....October early November is the Bay's best weather (Indian Summer)..but always bring your coat,boots,scarf..and rain gear.....let me know...

All PLEASURE....you know who there!

Flying into San Jose.

I had forgot all about halloween....my camera will be ready...i have a new and better one.

I leave on 11/3, that Tuesday.

I don't mind any public transportation....you know i ride our metro to and from work....wait, how many accidents/crashes have ya'll had lately. Our metro system here is on the verge of complete bankruptcy. Folks jumping, falling getting hit by buses and trains. One lady got hit the other day by a bus and died.

Folks jumping in front of trains, off trains..hitting cars, people,..all in the name of texting...lol,lol...so shit does happen..but for the most part..bay area has excellent transpo....

Just let us get our times & day together..at least for one day of fun!!!..you still have my #..and I have yours....

It would be nice if "All" bay area peeps..can come out and play!!!!!:hearts:..while Tee is here!!!

But here and the metro its been just crazy....every week....sometimes 2-3 within a week.

As the days get closer i'll keep you posted. You know the wharf is on my list of must places to go and a seafood spot.....Can ya'll recommend any????

tee... in my opinion, others may disagree, but san jose is far out from everything. its it own metropolis with its own airport!

you should rent a car. you can get on pub transpo but coming from san jose, it can take an hour to an hour half on pub transpo just to get to oakland or san francisco where you can cut your time by driving by half.

the bay area/san jose is still a LARGE massive area. don't let the maps fool ya. it takes a LOT of time to get around with traffic. everything is not always 30 minutes apart!

if you only plan on being in the bay area (not including san jose) for 1 meal, or 1 day, then have your friend drive you. waste of time on pub transpo.

if you plan on sight seeing SF and Oakland, Berkley, Emeryville for 2-3 days... get a hotel in the area. lol

if you want to 'see it all'... rent a car. its easy to get around here in a car. its not confusing.

I'm actually staying in San Jose. I'll probaby come to SF for a day and hang out because i want to go to the wharf place........so i'm sure my friend will bring me.

FYI - it takes me 45 to get to work on public transportation here and that is during rush hour. I do plan to ride you alls, just to see the various sites. Hell DC has its own site on the metro that i get a kick out of daily!

seductive_tee
02-03-2011, 07:53 AM
I've been there twice since September, the trip was great as usual but there was some fight at a bar that lead to a homicide near where I was. I was like DAMN....is this DC...

I still want to take my ride through the rough side of CA but they won't take me...is it that bad?

I'll be in San Diego in a few months so i'm going back to Cali soon....

Hey Chey! Ya never know..wink wink....now that i'm a empty nester you just never know.

One thing about out there is housing is HIGH as hell! But there's a Naval Base there, so if i did move that way and wanted to stay Fed Gov't, it wouldn't be too hard!

I'd miss the snow though...I like snow!
