Am I wrong FAM?

The guy that I spoke about that cheated on me came to see me at my job.
He looked so horrible.
Even though I'm an evil person, especially when someone fucks me over, I didn't have the heart to kick him down.
His clothes were wrinkled, he looked like he hadn't slept.
I told him he looked bad and I would help me as much as I could, without going overboard.

I slipped $30.00 in his hands and told him I know this doesn't help much but at least its something and hugged him when he left. I told him that even though we didn't work out as a couple, he was always a better friend and I would be there for him.

Was I wrong? Did I invite him back into my life as anything other than a friend? :(

There's nothing wrong w/helping someone while they are down. I think that was very nice of you. Depending on him, he might see it as invitation back into your life, but you just have to make it clear that it's friendship only.

Your right! Thats why I have refused his advances and told him we started out as friends, I'm glad that we ended as friends.

There was no point in kicking someone who was already down and what you did was a gesture of human kindness.

Hopefully he will see it that way, and not expect to get you back, but regardless of how he feels you did the right thing.

I didn't intend anything.
I saw someone who was down and I decided to cheer them up.

Yes I did say that.

But since he wasn't abusive to me in the relationship, I didn't have a grudge against him, Que.

I just saw an opportunity to be nice to someone that I once held so dear to me.

Plus, to hold "it" like that would mean that I would still have feelings for him. Which I don't.
