A Real Hush Radio Show???

A few of the OG's will remember waaay back in the day (2000-2001) when we used to have the weekly voice chats on Dailydiva.com.

Well, I have fond a new service (BlogTalkRadio.com) were we can get this going again!!!, but 100 times better, meaning I can run it like a real talk show or HushLive session.


Weekly topics.
You can call in and voice your opinion.
All shows are archived.
All shows are down loadable.
Free Talk, meaning you can curse if ya like.
Each show is 1 hour long.
You can call in using: Your PC, cellphone, homephone, etc.
Well, before I look into getting this going....I guess my question is, would yall be down for sumhin' like this?

If so, can you suggest a certain day and a certain time (PST) for the show to take place?

I think it would be a good idea if folks went to the site sometime between now and next week, and registered. That way when the show starts next week they will be ready to jump in and participate.

Chey it would have been great to have you on early. For a while there I thought me and Admin was gonna have to do the whole show alone. LOL

So I hit Rhonda on FB and asked her to call. She was really nice to do it, and had NO IDEA what it was. Just "OK, I'll talk" LOL

went to the hush...cool, then went to blog talk good, then tried to type as a guest in the room..wouldn't let me...then I said ok let me log in...sistuhchey and password..duhhh..nope....ok let me register...the whole time on blog talk listening was was crystal clear...then I said okkkk..let me call in...echo, echo delayed conversation...it was strange...so i hung up...logged out of the hush, logged out of blog talk...then did it all over again..whew!!! the whole time while listening...it was good....oh yeah...can you believe there's a "chey" on blog talk...so i gotta be cheychey....

Question(s): What's the theme/purpose of the show? Based on the initial posts it appears to be going the relationship route. And since in the other thread you've stated no politics or religion its not really current event driven..... What genre or demographic are you planning to target? How do I describe this to the person on the street?

Hey Brite,
Well Hush Radio is really just for members although we welcome new members at anytime. Each week, we will have a new topic, but I plan to mix it up just like the Hush does. Some weeks I will just have "Open Phones", so folks can call in with what ever that is on their minds.

This board has so many forums, threads on various topics, so the Radio show will also reflect that. If you can explain The Hush, then you can explain Hush Radio.

Alot of folks, never really got The Hush, so I do not expect alot of new members from the show, but within our membership, this will be a viable way to interact as we once did in our old voice chat room.

If you do not ever what to chat in that chatroom, then you can call in by just using the call-in number. You do not need a BlogTalkRadio account to call in or to listen to the stream via your pc.

I was a little frustrated that for a topic called "Bedroom Music" there was not much discussed about it once it evolved into a series of comedy riffs on how little is needed to get one's respective freak on. We also got off on a boy vs. girl thing.

Maybe for just an hour, that was a lot to cover.

Let's say if the topic was what to offer to drink if you want to get the vibe going - what is a nice bottle of wine to bring, a chardonnay, a zinfandel, and all that was discussed was " I don't need no wine, all I need is Koolaid and a bendy straw" then the original topic is moot and we can kill the hour getting laughs. Sorry if I came off as stiff and not going with the flow. I was late into the show and the flow was already what it was.
