Hey Foxe and Tee...

I'll be in the area for a company trip. I will have limited time but I am open to seeing you all. I will be staying at the Gaylord National.

Unfortunately its all week day. The only day I can visualize being available is Sunday night May 17th after my flight arrive.

Who else in the area?

i have more questions later...

Let me know when the day gets closer,
I will make it my business to meet you.
The Gaylord is 15 minutes from my house.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! OK.... so here are my more questions.

we get a choice of recreational options. i am clueless. i can pick what i think i may like, but just want some home grown thoughts about these activities:

Washington DC Cruise & Mount Vernon Tour. Enjoy an exciting and scenic ride down the Potomac River followed by a tour of Mt. Vernon.
The Woodrow Wilson House & Embassy Row Walking Tour. Visit the final home of the twenty-eighth President, a living textbook of "modern" American life in the 1920s. Afterwards a tour guide will narrate a walking tour of Embassy Row with fascinating stories both old and new of the unique and powerful people, the residents both current and past.
International Spy Museum Scavenger Hunt & Chinatown Tour. Participants, in teams or solo, compete against each other and the clock as they navigate their way through the Museum. Afterwards, explore the District’s Chinatown which offers fun and eclectic shops and restaurants as well as some of the area’s biggest names in fashion and cuisine.
Georgetown Walking Tour & Shopping. A walk through Washington’s stony Georgetown neighborhood is a venture through time. A tour guide will point out the houses of the movers and shakers, as well as the remarkable historic properties here that are open to the public, winding up in Georgetown’s famous shopping and restaurant district.
Old Town Alexandria Walking Tour & Shopping. Waterfront Old Town was an important port during the colonial, revolutionary and Civil War periods. Today the beautiful sidewalks are lined with a wide variety of ethnic restaurants, pubs, fashion boutiques, and curio stores. This tour will share some of the infamous and sometimes ghostly stories of the neighborhood and it’s residents both past and present.
Spa. Limited appointments available on a first come/first served basis at the Relâche Resort Spa, Fitness Center and Pool.
Golf. Golf at the recently renovated National Golf Club at Tantallon. This golf course has not been viewed/played by any DM personnel, so please review their website to ensure that your expectations can be met.
On Own. Take a shuttle on your own to either the Old Post Office or Union Station, work out in the hotel's Fitness Center, swim in the Junior Olympic-sized pool, gaze at the Atrium Fountain, or take a stroll along the mile-long waterfront path and enjoy a whole gallery of public art displays. Additional information on these and other on- and off-site activities is available through the hotel's concierge.

hula, i actually dont like any of those choices. i would do something on my own. get a list of the FREE museums on the mall and pick and choose the ones that interest you. Hop on the metro and do your own thing.

YIPPEE!

Foxe and Tee: What do Sundays or Thursday's look like for you? Thursday is better for me; Sunday was just "snatched" out my hand by co workers who want to bond (blah)...

Ya'll got kids and its a school night so i don't want to call you at 9pm on a sunday night talking about let's kick it. But thursday would be better... dinner for sure.
