Barbecue and Blues - 3/16/02

What can I say, but many thanks to the Bay Area Fam that came out to drink, (more on this later) dine and chill in Oaktown's Historical Jack London Square. We met up at Evertet and Jones Barbecue at approx 7:15 pm.

Well, after a long wait for a table, we were seated and that's when the fun began. Mystkev ordered some drink that got her fucked up!:D Why was she talking to us with only one eye open? (looking like Popeye the sailer and shyt)...Fam, this was too funny.

Then, Dulce ordered a drink and they brought her the wrong one. She too one sip and sent it back. 30 mins later, her second/replacement drink came and shedrank it but said that it was "too weak!"

So, Mystkev was Drunk/Crunk off of one drink and Dulce was begging for more....Crazy Huh?

Okay, while all of this is going on, the live Blues Band is playing. Now the band is comprised of OLD ASS MEN. The lead singer and harmonica player is "Bird Leg". Bird Leg is running arournd the BBQ joint with a cordless mic and a harmonica (I guess this is what Lil' Stevie Wonder would have done if he could see):D

So, here comes the food and Lawd ham Mercy...we chowed the fuck down (or at least I did):D BBQ in the winter, sounds crazy to me, but I ate my fill.

The bill came and it was time to go. Celebrity sighting: I saw ya boy...Rafael Sadiq on my way to the restroom.

Now, we are walking to the cars andMystkev starts doing PORNO poses in the parking lot. Niggas is watching and shyt...then I transformed into Big Worm and the store was open.:D

The Hush Honeys, wanted to go out, so I gave them a ride the jump off point and came to the crib.

Whew!, let's do this again soon. :D I think that that was the diversion that I needed to get my MOJO back.

What Admin didn't say was that the drink was big, they put EXTRA alcohol, and I drank it down in about 3 minutes. I'm usually not that bad. I really think it was how fast I drank it, I had two other drinks and I am cool this morning.

We have to do that again, soon. I had too much fun, I don't get out much, but I guess y'all could tell.

I love my Hush peeps. We had so much fun! We took pictures (dulce, mystkev and hula are in all of them) and Big Worm came through.

We hopped in my temporary load and road over to Grand Ave. We passed by the Lucky Lounge. Then we passed by the 5th Amendment. Then we decided on the Lucky Lounge.

We got in, and the first thing i see is the male to female ratio is 5 to 1. i am happy.

We get our drinks, chit chat, and sit down on these lovely large ancient couches that i plan on buying in my future home.

Mystkev didn't waste no damn time. Brotha came right on and sat next to her and they held conversation for the rest of the night.

Dulce and I talked about everything under moon.

We interchanged conversation with Mystkev and her patna and found out that he thinks Americans are boring (and he is from America). Man, that was a great hush conversation. We also found out he is a salsa musician and will be playin at Shelly's near Pac Bell Park in SF next sunday. We need to do this on the real.

Then, this TALL brotha passed by, and he had the body of a knight and the face of a youth. i had to ask his age...he was 34. and from Chicago. After the three of us talked, he left, and came back with his friend. We continued the conversation, and we all ended up outside.

After we talked out side, we all left to retire to our caves.

Well at one point, my patna, says he wants some chocolate, he declined a lick of my wrist :p. So we decided to go to 7-Eleven, across the street, Hula was like "give me your license, i don't know you, and you trying to go somewhere w/my girl" That shit was funny, had to put that in there. He wouldn't, so w/an order from Hula to get a Kit Kat, we stroll off.

We return from 7-Eleven shortly and at that point it was almost 2am. My new friend, says he's off, gets my number and gives up some hugs. I have to admit, his no game game was working.

The bar closes and that's when the shit starts.

then there was the parking lot action...my girl (mystkev) dropped it like it was hot and bigworm getting the illicit CD action (thanks for Glenn Lewis, man) and we're all laughing like nuts, tripping over potholes and shit...

He was cool but his friends was really working the nerves...I left hula with one and went outside to give them some time to do they thang...turns out one of the security guards is somebody I used to date way back when...felt kinda bad that I didn't remember him but his ass been sprung since high school! anyway, I'm talking to him and him crew and these other ques are in the cut, whispering and pinting and staring at me...WTF? so I looked over like "what's up?" & one of them says "how you doing" & I respond the same...then they are still looking crazy so I ask if they have a question...one of 'em says yeah & tries to walk up on me so I meet him halfway (the peanut gallery is saying "damn, she's aggressive") and he asks me if I'm with hula and mystkev...I say yeah & he says ok...???? that was some lame ass shit! later, when it's almost just us and them (my boys are getting ready to cut), I peep that they are all across the street & suddenly come back and surround hula and nystkev. so I walk over and say "hey, ya'll, I'm ready to go"...(see next reply)

now he gets told...but he persists and then his friend - from the safety of a 1/2 a block and across the street says "fuck that bitch!" then hula's friend starts telling me that yelling man didn't mean it, yada yada yada...I just point who is really the biatch since he's screamin at someone that is paying absolutely no attention...

whew, damn, never dull with hush folks! but we had a good laugh in the car and I'm sure we're gonna be causing some commotion somewhere soon...
