What the hell is the name of that old restaurant chain, that had a big salad bar. I think they are all closed now, but it was big in the 70s and 80s. You paid up front then sat and grubbed until you couldn't walk. Had a hot side with some bland wings a taco station... cheap ice cream station too. Dammit, I was talking to wifey and nether of us could recall - it used to be our cheap eats mainstay in Hampton, VA and here in nj until they closed a few years ago, probably from the Koreans and their buffets.... Dammit!

That's it, Sizzler
Kadeem was expecting to go there after Wesley Snipes beat Woody Harrelson, but he lost. There was one in Brooklyn we went to once, just once that was straight up RANK! Lethargic help kept adding more to the top of the items, meanwhile from halfway down to the bottom it was rancid as hell!

You know, in Hampton VA I think it was called the Ponderosa on Mercury Boulevard. Couples used to go to that Econo Lodge on weekends for some peace and quiet and uninterrupted boot knockin' away from roommates, and we used to see each other in the Ponderosa, or a joint called Godfather's Pizza. We try not to look like we are going back to the Econo Lodge but shit, we had walked down from there so you can't fake like you're getting a car! LoL okay I'm trippin' down memory lane again. But seriously 27 bucks a night, the whole place is high school and college folks fuckin', you can hear it while you're resting between your own rounds. I swear some folks were hollarin' on purpose.

Never been to a Sizzler..........there was one here in Farmers Branch, but they closed it...................on Saturday and Sunday, you used to see all the little elderly couples going in there for dinner........LOL

In Illinois where I grew up, we had Ponderosa and Bonanza. I think they still have a Ponderosa in Granite City...........We used to go shopping at Fairview Heights Mall then go to Ponderosa for dinner............

We had a Godfathers Pizza in Belleville............Loved it! My friends and I would drive all the way to Belleville just for pizza and a pitcher of beer.........

We later got Old Country Buffet. They started out really good, then it seemed they got sloppy and the food wasn't as good anymore..........
