I work for a phone company reseller into new phone orders. Each day we are given back our errors from the previous day to correct. Well today I got errors with my login from yesterday. I did not work yesterday

So I took them to my supervisor and she said..."Don't worry about it they won't count against you and tossed them in the trash."

What I wanna know is why someone was logged in as me, doing orders yesterday??? Why is my logon not private??? My supervisor did no work yesterday either so she had no answer only said she'd look into it.

What do ya'll think?

hope you didn't throw that shit away. I would follow up with her until you get a definitive answer because that kinda stuff can blow up on ya later.

Dulce....

Especially since raises are based on performance and error ratio.

I kept my copy...my sup threw hers away but I know how to go into the computer and get another copy.

who is in charge of assigning you a new password.

If you enter a wrong password in three times does it lock you out, forcing you to get a new one.

Thats the only way to log someone is with their password.

We busted a worker back in the day giving credits on someone elses password. It was off of her run so we knew who it was and she used some codes from her old position she transfered from.

Yes D2da...it will lock you out with 3 attempts on the password. But management assigns passwords...they are not personal.

It may be a computer glitch...the computer just assigned the errors to the wrong person.

However my biggest concern is that I enter almost 80 orders per day and I never question my errors. But I get raises based on them. If an error like this can occur then errors should not be a part of my review until they fix this glitch.

..to access previous errors on accts you've done, if any...check the consistencies...if they are WAY off the mark of a typical YOU mistake, get a hard copy and save it for that possible rainy day...you know the kind of work you do, and so does your sup...so if some shady shit hits, you'll be prepared...

I worked on Saturday, which is rare and entered orders to be processed in the fields on Monday.

Usually orders are processed the same day, and usually if I had worked on Monday the error sheet would have included everything scheduled to be processed on Monday including Saturdays orders...because orders don't actually go anywhere on weekends.

So, the sheet I recieved on Tuesday was for Saturday work not Monday.

Sorry Tastey

But something don't sound right. I would keep my ears and eyes open at all times at work.

Sounds like a conspiracy about to go down.

There could be something else going on that neither your boss or you know about. You might want to get with your computer support personel to see if they can sort it out for you. Somebody should be able to tell who logged in as you.

What may appear to be an ant can turn into an elephant later. For instance, a similar incident at my previous place of employment did not allow you to mak LD phone calls unless you were logged in. How about someone got access to another employees ID on a saturday and ran up a $1900.00 oversee phone call. You definitely need to turn P.I. and find out who is using your ID, also go catch that trash......that's evidence gurl !!
