if he or she is living with their baby's daddy/momma but they say that they're not "together" - RED FLAG!!!

and here are a few more RED FLAGS that a friend of mine should seen so she wouldn't a been crushed when she found out her man was married (now tell these ain't clear!)

1. he only calls from work or his cell
2. he never takes you on a date - only to the hot tubs by the job at lunch time
3. you can't have his home number
4. you can't have his address (cuz there's baby momma issues - yeah right!)
5. he comes by your house, fucks ya and then has to bail because of an emergency that he found out about when he called somebody (they didn't call him!) and this scenario happens everytime he comes over...

let's see......

*He can never spend the entire night with you

*You never spend any holidays together

*He never takes you out in public and when you see him in a public setting with his friends,he barely acknowledges you

* When you ask why he didn't return your call or page,he always says " What page (message)? I never got it"

*He never buys you anything because he's always "broke "

*When he get's calls on his cell phone,he always whispers or goes into another room to talk

*He never wants to spend time with you when your family or friends are around -"Oh,your sister's over there? Well, call me when she leaves" and never comes to any event being held by your family and friends -even though you've invited him countless times

-That's all for now-

RED-FLAG:
You can meet for lunch but you can never go to his office, and he won't come to yours.

You can not call him on his work phone, "Hit me on the celly, or page me that is the best way to reach me!"

His car has a sorority tag: Delta, AKA.

YELLOW FLAG:

His car has car seat dents in the back seat but he claims he has no children.

He lets your call go to voice mail and then calls you back 5 min. later.

The woman you saw him with was his cousin or his boys girlfriend.

soft...damn those were good...cept for the first one about meeting....

sometimes it can be less than professional to meet multiple women at the job.....as nosy as workmates can be...they don't need to know who i am dating. not yet anyway.....maybe if we become exclusive (engaged) i can take you to a company event.

Yellow Flag:
If he's ever said any of the following:

Can I borrow $20 bucks till payday...again.
I don't like family...can't we just be alone?
Sure I like your son. (But you have a daughter or viceversa)
Can I borrow your car...again.

If he's ever done any of the following:
Let his phone ring and ring while you are at his home.
Cancelled more than 2 dates at the last minute.
Ignores his pager, although it keeps going off.

Red Flag:
Forgotten Christmas or Valentine's Day (these are NATIONAL holidays)
Won't allow you to just "drop by" while in the neighborhood.

RED FLAG:
He agrees to meet you.....at his "boys house" and when you ge there he(the boy) boy asks "Is this the one you were talking about?"

This is one thing that they may slip on: Catalogs/Magazines
You are at "his" place and there are magazines and catalogs that come in a womans name, and he claims that they are his sisters. But when you met he said he was an only child.

some of the things that are being mentioned is straight common sense shit. However, I am wondering who wrote Game 101 anyway and the fact that there is so much waste time and energy put into game playing....Ultimately, what does the player actually take a way from this beside the thrill of lowering there prey self-esteem a few knotches....

Yup thats true.. I was dating a guy once and why did his "girlfriend" find my # and call me. She asked the usual questions.." do you know_________ how long have you been seeing him, were you with this night blah blah" Anyway she asked me about a specific evening and I told her that she took me to dinner and to see a comedy show, she said "That muthafuka borrowed $ from me saying he was taking his daughter and her friends skating and for pizza" Man... some men ain't shit! :beating

Giving me a pager or cellphone number is a , "girlfriend, babymomma, wife" alert. If I realize that the # is a cell or pager, it goes straight in the trash

I'm with you Meelah on this one. I want all the damn digits. Too many married men out here creeping for me to accept less. But since I got caller ID and call blocking, they can have my number.

I'm pretty comfortable with just the cell phone number. . . initially~!! :upretty

However, Nigga. . don't tell me that when I call your cell.. it will ring.. but I can ONLY leave a message for you that comes across the screen (for you to read). . when that is NOT the case~!!!!!!!!!!!! :hammer

I guess that would be considered a YELLOW flag. . on it's way to a RED one~?!?!?!

I always assume that if I get a cell phone number, that there is a woman at home that may answer if he gives me his home phone. I toss it before he is barely out of sight.

Misha,
I know quite a few single men that don't have a home phone, just a cell phone.
