Sisters waiting..and wanting to exhale...I thought it was done very nicely.....

I like that part too. I also like the part when Leon's character figures out she is pregnant and she tells him, yeah thats right and "WE" don't need you. And she closes the door in his face.

I like the part when Bernadette gets everything and more in the divorce proceedings. And when Savannah tells Dennis Haysbert's character off then knocks the water over on him.

i read the book first and lovededed it.

and didnt really enjoy the movie too much, cause it left so much detail out.

BUT..the soundtrack, GREAT.

Not to long ago, I watched it twice back to back (on Oxygen I think) even went and got my book out, lol lol

I never was overjoyed with the movie, but it's grown on me. The soundtrack was mesmerizing.

I liked the part when the heavier brother was with Robin - that was some real talk.

I am always haunted by the exchange between Wesley and Angela - the book version is just as powerful.

Not so much that they were dogging them, it was like the women finally woke up and stopped "letting" the men treat them that way. The men were only doing what the women allowed them to do.

I still thought after Wendell Pierce's character getting Lela Rochon's, how could he have thought he was all that all of a sudden and be dogging her? Or did he ever dog her? All they showed was him being a bastard at work one time. Well, work is work, and I guess this shows how work affairs don't work.
