i just looked at the rates again and some hotels are less expensive that president's holiday than the next weekend. i was looking at imperial palace and was trying to stay somewhere else, but, i may have to stay there.

I'll be at Treasure Island.. they keep sending me unbelievable comp rates.. for that w/e my rate is 69(thurs) and $99 fri and sat, which is cheap. I guess they figure I've blown enough of my money there why not reward me for it :rolleyes:

You wouldn't believe how that end of the strip has grown... a new mall, lots of restaurants, shopping, condos. They are so overdeveloped mid-strip and north end they have no choice now. What I'd really like to do is stay out at Lake Las Vegas... I'm kinda getting "over" Las Vegas Blvd, the lights, the glitz and the glam.

i dont' remember it being in the casino area of the strip. i remember it being down a ways... it may be on las vegas blvd, just some distance from the casinos. we drove there so i wasn't paying attention to distance like i would have if it was a cab!!!!!!!!

lasventions.com try them for caesar's specials. they're rates are the only ones out of most of the major resorts that haven't seemed to drop much. I heard about that 3 free night deal Wynn was throwin around. I had him booked for this last trip which included 2 comped nights and $150 in free play. Venetian sent me an offer at the last minute so I switched. Bad move. I can't stand that place. The rooms are huge, with the sunken living room but that's about the only thing they have goin.

my mom stayed at venetian and palazzo. she said the rooms are great; casino is cute; but that was it. food service sucked. that made me sad because i was gettin a feel for them. the palazzo has nice public bathrooms :eek: lol... when i get rich i want bathrooms just like theirs :D
