Guess who? Just checking in/checking on. Haven't been here in a minute. Saw the emails in my yahoo box, so I thought I would stop in for a sec. How is everyone? Not much going on in my life. No juicy stories to talk about. Well, a few, but not for this thread. :rolleyes:

*waving @ everyone* :wave: I have been good. I don't know how long it has been since I was last here, but I know it has been a minute. The girls are almost women now. Court will be a college sophmore this fall; she has a free ride at Fayetteville State, BUT, she hated the school, the town and the experience, so we are waiting to hear from NC State (they accepted her the first time, but they may skip her this time). If she doesn't get in there, she will go back to FSU for another year and try again. The middle trouble child is now 16 and is getting better as time passes (recall, she was the one who was/is attracted to trouble). She played on the JV basketball team and only got in trouble twice the entire school year! She also made the Principal's list for the first time in 5 years. And lil miss will be 12 in August; she will be a 7th grader next school term. She is till trying to find her personality, so we are just waiting for her to blossom into herself.

As for me ~> I got married last July, have chosen to NOT change my name just yet and in the process, I acquired two more daughters, ages 5 and 9 :eek: They are beautiful little women. Unfortunately, their mom passed when they were ages 4 and 1. They have done very well with the transition. I am still learning how to be a mommy to little kids once again b/c some days I just want to go to my room, lock the door and not come out until I am ready to shower. (working on the selfish part).

Still trying to finish this *insert as many cuss words as you like* degree! Am no longer a perfect 10; a whooping 12 now. :cry:
My mom and I are finally on good terms; prayer works wonders. I am still working at the university. AND that's about it. Nothing big/major going on. :cool: I may need to visit the confession stand a time or two, but we shall see about that. lol
