out of respect, i'd have to tell my mate that things haven't been going so well and ask him what he thinks we should do...if things don't work out, i'd contact the first love - after the recovery as not to start a rebound relationship.

It depends on what my motives are. If I just want to hang out a bit with an old friend, I'd tell my significant other. On the other hand, if I was looking at my first love as a replacement, then I'd keep my mouth shut.

Well Que I think it depends on how you see your first love.

My first couldn't get the draws no matter what. But I would eat free food he paid for. lol :p

But some people still romantasize thier first loves. My first love still says he LOVES me. He say I'm his ONLY love. But that's how he feels. I don't share those feelings at all.

There's no reason to. Even if my relationship isn't cool at the time, I'm still in one and have to respect that.

I'd probably get my first love's number to have the option to kick it if me & my S.O. don't work out.
